DeSimone Captures Thomas Foods Project with Time-Lapse Innovation

Thomas Foods

DeSimone is currently working on exterior and interior renovations, along with a new expansion, for Thomas Foods International, an industry leader, that distributes over 100 million pounds of meat products annually from its Lakeside Processing Facility in Swedesboro, NJ.

Constructing cold storage facilities is complex due to the need for precise temperature and humidity control. This requires advanced refrigeration systems, insulated structures, and designs that ensure both operational efficiency and safety. DeSimone is making progress on the project, utilizing time-lapse technology to document every stage of the build. This innovative approach not only provides a compelling visual record of the construction process but also offers numerous benefits for project management and stakeholder engagement.

Time-lapse footage is valuable as it visually documents progress, highlights challenges, and provides insights into the installation of critical systems. The technology allows teams to monitor developments over time efficiently. It enhances communication with clients by providing clear, real-time updates while also serving as a valuable tool for quality assurance. The footage helps identify potential bottlenecks, ensuring that the project stays on schedule.

Implementing time-lapse technology on the Thomas Foods project reinforces our commitment to transparency, efficiency, and project success.
