In 2024, patterns will be the biggest change in hardwood flooring, with herringbone, basketweave, and chevron wood arrangements becoming more popular.
Sustainability is trending in all areas of construction and design. It carries through to flooring as well. Reclaimed wood is an eco-friendly option for obvious reasons. Trending design colors of 2024
Earth-tone wall colors, reflecting a biophilic feel, are expected to be big next year. Terra Cotta and some rich, deep greens will be amongst the top color picks, according to Better Homes and Gardens. The publication also predicts that coastal-inspired blues will be a hit as well. Veranda adds that neutrals will forever be popular but will be a bit buttery or blushed in the year ahead. The online publication also says splashes of bold colors, like bright pinks and aquas, will help make our spaces unique and representative of our personalities.
