DeSimone transformed a retired 13,000-square-foot medical office building at 601 North Main Street in Glassboro, New Jersey, into its new corporate headquarters, demonstrating the firm’s design-build and construction management expertise through the rejuvenation of a pre-existing commercial property.
The renovation created a modern, collaborative workplace in which DeSimone occupies 8,000 square feet of the building, with the remaining 5,000 square feet designated as commercial tenant space. The investment extended beyond the headquarters itself, as the adjacent rental property was acquired by Back Nine Golf.
A defining feature of the new headquarters is its Lutron Ketra-certified showroom, which is one of only a few certified showrooms in the region. Clients, designers, and property owners can get a firsthand glimpse of advanced lighting technology when visiting DeSimone’s headquarters. Designed to replicate natural light and enhance wellness, comfort, and aesthetics, the space serves as both a functional meeting space and a demonstration of how innovative lighting solutions can transform residential and commercial environments.
