DeSimone founder, Dennis DeSimone, received the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce's 2024 Citizen of the Year Award for his unwavering commitment to community service. The non-profit organization that serves businesses and community members in the county honored five individuals and one organization for their positive impact on the lives of others at their 20th Annual Community Service Awards celebration on March 21, 2024, held at Auletto Caterers.
Dennis' nomination highlighted his decades of charitable work and the well-respected reputation he has built over his company’s 50 years in business.
Dennis DeSimone’s passion for giving is evident in the many organizations he has supported over the years, such as New Point Behavioral Health, Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey (CSPNJ), and Robin's Nest – now Acenda Integrated Health. For his devotion and generosity, he has received individual accolades from CSPNJ and his alma mater, Delaware Valley University. He is an active member of the community, currently serving on business and nonprofit boards such as The Bank (now Fulton Bank) and Acenda Integrated Health. He has also dedicated time and leadership to the Finance Committee of Holy Angels Church.
